Sporting Scholarships
SportUNE offers a number of sporting scholarships to students enrolled in a course of at least two years' duration at the University of New England. Applicants should have an outstanding ability in a particular sport, and a desire to represent the University in their chosen sport. Recipients will be expected to become active members of the UNE sporting club for which the award has been granted.
At Sport UNE, we offer two levels of scholarships: Full Sports Scholarship, and Sports Development Scholarship. The awarding of sporting scholarships are considered by the UNE Sports Scholarship Committee (comprising the Executive Director, President, and Senior Vice-President of Sport UNE), the chair of the UNE Academic Board (or nominee), and the Academic Registrar (or nominee).
