Murray’s special interest lies in injury and postural dysfunction rehabilitation. He is currently undertaking further studies in the field of osteopathy.
Believing that the body needs to be viewed holistically so as to create a ‘dynamic equilibrium’ to enable proper balanced function, Murray utilises myofascial and craniosacral therapies to compliment his resistance training programmes.
Bringing twenty five years of training and coaching experience to the Armidale community, Murray has previous experience as a competitive athlete and martial artist before merging his skills into the health and fitness industry. Murray’s commitment to ongoing education has led him to extend his knowledge to postural dysfunction and rehabilitation, allowing him to work with clients from all areas.
“The big thing that people need to keep in mind is that improving the body and maintaining it in good order has to be a holistic process. All aspects of the body have to be assessed if optimal performance is the goal. It is not enough just to do a few classes or weight sessions, everything else you do has to be considered.”
