Rules for the day
Tee Shots
- Each player must use a least 3 of their tee shots in the 18 holes of competition
- The team captain/scorer must record whose tee shot was used on each hole (initial beside the score)
On the Fairway
- The position of the selected ball should be marked
- All players must place their ball within one club length of the marked position, no nearer to the hole.
- Any order of play.
Off the Fairway
- The position of the selected ball is marked
- All players then drop their ball within one club length of the marked position, no nearer to the hole
- The drop must be made in the same conditions as the marked position (ie. hazard, rough, bunker)
- Any order of play
On the Putting Green
- The selected ball is marked
- Other balls must be putted from within one putter length either side of the selected ball
- Do no make tap in putts until all players have had the opportunity to attempt team’s original putt
Markers
- Men are to play off the white markers
- Women are to play of the red markers
Code of Conduct
1. Purpose
The purpose of this Code of Conduct and Insurance Waiver is to ensure that all participants enjoy a safe, fair, and inclusive environment while taking part in the SportUNE Golf Day. By participating in this event, all individuals agree to comply with the standards outlined below.
2. Participant Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to:
– Behave in a respectful, responsible, and sportsmanlike manner at all times.
– Treat fellow participants, officials, volunteers, staff, and venue personnel with courtesy and respect.
– Comply with the rules of golf and any local course rules as advised by the host golf club.
– Follow all reasonable directions given by event organisers, officials, and venue staff.
– Use appropriate language and refrain from abusive, discriminatory, or offensive behaviour.
– Respect the golf course, facilities, equipment, and surrounding environment.
– Consume alcohol responsibly and comply with all venue and licensing requirements.
– Refrain from participating if under the influence of alcohol or drugs to a level that may compromise safety.
SportUNE and The Armidale Golf Club reserves the right to remove any participant from the event for behaviour deemed unsafe, disruptive, or contrary to this Code of Conduct.
